LA-based brothers, Always You, have announced the upcoming release of their second album, Bloom Off The Rose. Alongside the news comes a dreamy pop cut in the form of ‘Black City Nights’. We’re given a long, airy intro to be fully absorbed into the washy landscape of the duo’s sound, which blends distinctive vocals with simplistic guitar and keyboard chords and an insistent drum and bass rhythm. The band describe this track as “a song for the dishevelled and defeated, a vivid depiction of long sleepless nights, chasing ghosts of one’s past and future, lost bets, and blind optimism that the next big break is just around the corner.” Make sure to listen out for their new album when it drops on July 16^th, 2021. -Dan Peeke
